Germany vacation

Germany is an exceptional country to visit – both in summer and winter, though you have much more to see in summer than in winter. A Germany vacation would be a wonderful choice of a vacation for anyone who wants to enjoy good food and exceptional natural beauty.

There is a lot to see in this wonderful country and a Germany vacation is a great way to spend you holidays. The German language, contrary to common belief, is quite easy to follow for those who know English and you will find that most people do understand if not speak fluently English language. The life in Germany can be pretty costly as the life style is high and there is the offer of the formidable German beer at every corner which you simply cannot resist (and which eats into your budget with alarming alacrity).

The cities that tourists enjoy most are Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg to name a few. You have the choice to use the rail or flight – both of which are extremely comfortable and convenient mode of travel within the country. A Germany vacation can offer you a glimpse in the local life of the German people through experiencing some of the most popular festivals – such as the Love Parade which takes place in July where people dance the whole night in the streets and enjoy having fun in general. It is great to see the whole multitude of young people dancing in the street in almost a continuous frenzy.

Then there is the Oktoberfest in September-October where people celebrate by drinking beer specially made and distributed for this even by four exclusively chosen breweries. This festival takes places in Munich and is extremely popular throughout the world. There will be millions of tourists thronging to see and enjoy this even so if you want to take part in it be sure you book your place in advance.

Overall the German people are friendly and very accommodative; however their hang-up on rules and regulations can become a bit trying sometimes. Hence, if you want a totally hassle free holiday during your Germany vacation ensure that you do not overlook any rule of the region.

For accommodation during your Germany vacation you need not worry until and unless your trip coincides with some major festival such the Oktoberfest when indeed everything get packed. There are otherwise, a great number of hotels in Germany and you can find easily one to suit your taste and budget even during peak season.

Be sure when you are in Germany that you manage to visit “Checkpoint Charlie” which was the crossing over point between East and West Berlin. For those who are historically inclined, and maybe even those who are not, you may not like to miss visiting some of the Nazi concentration camps like Dachau (one of the first such camps) which is guaranteed to horrify even the most tested and tried person.

There are a great many other tourist attraction spots all over Germany and you will need minimum 10 days to really enjoy to a moderate extent its beauty and versatility.
