Vienna Austria: A Great Austria Vacation


If you are planning a European vacation and especially if you are planning on vacationing on a budge, then Vienna Austria is the right place. Many people want to stay in a big city while in Europe – Paris, and Berlin are often hot cities. Popularity also mean more expensive. With Vienna you are in a big city that is central to all of Europe and inexpensive. Vienna is a wonderful city year round. Which is great especially if you are planning on traveling in the off season to save money. In the spring all the flowers in Prater Park are just blooming. Just down the road you can catch a ride on a Fiaker horse drown coach. This is a great way to start your Austria vacation. This particular part of Austria is known for its chestnut trees. Summer in Austria is all about the water. Austria vacation would not be complete unless you took a dip in the beautiful streams that flow directly from the Danube. The area has really great local shops, banks, places to eat. Several art museums are with in walking distance, the older theatre can be found here as well as the Metropol and Jorgebad. Do not forget to try the local pastry shops which offer regional cakes, coffee, and a true German breakfast. Vienna cuisine should be tried along with great wine. Austria vacations are great because the food and lodging is really inexpensive.
